Reticle
A reticle, also known as a crosshair, is a superimposed shape or image that helps shooters get accurate alignment when using a scope. The image used is usually intersecting lines which resemble a plus sign. Other shapes such as dots or circles are sometimes also used to help a shooter achieve precise alignment.
