Firearm

A firearm is a weapon and/or tool that uses a controlled explosion to shoot projectiles at a high speed. This explosion is achieved by the burning of a propellant which creates a gas that shoots the projectile. Firearms can be broken down into two categories: small arms which consist of handguns and pistols and long guns which consist of rifles and shotguns.
